The American West

Inspired by roadtrips throughout the west, The American West is a series I've wanted to create for some time. Below are some of the beginning works to a much larger collection that will be showcased in 2027/2028.

Studies

These studies are smaller works created with the intent to try new techniques, experiment with color variations or simply "palate cleansers" after long stretches of painting the same topic. As with any skill or trade, it's important to stay consistent in learning and practice. Some of these are vastly different from what I would usually paint, while others begin to set the foundation on how I approach larger paintings of the same subject.
